How do I book?
You can book online or by post but you must fill in a booking form for every person on the course. Course places can only be reserved by sending a booking form by one of these methods along with payment.
Acceptance of a booking is subject to Mountain Sense receiving a completed booking form. You will find these on our website. This must be sent along with a 25% deposit (unless within 56 days of the start of the course where the full balance is required). If we do not receive the balance of the full amount 56 days prior to the commencement of the course, we may consider the booking cancelled by the client and offer the course place for resale.

Will I need insurance cover ?

Do I need to have waterproof jacket with hood, over-trousers, spare warm clothing and hat and gloves?
Yes, mountain weather can be highly changeable even in the height of summer. Just because it is warm and sunny at the bottom of a mountain does not mean it will stay the same all the way to the top. Generally it gets approximately 1 degree C colder every 100m you climb. Waterproofs keep you much warmer by protecting you from the wind, which also increases with height. Spare, warm clothing including hat and gloves must be carried in addition to waterproofs for these reasons.
If the course includes an overnight expedition, do I have to bring my own food supplies?
Yes. All courses with an overnight expedition require you to bring your own "hill food".
