No longer manufactured from a dug out log, Canadian “Open” Canoes have changed little from the early North American Indian design. Having been passed down through the generations, its now your opportunity to learn the graceful skills of “Open Boating”
During this 1 day course, we will take you through the essential skills and techniques to allow you to confidently paddle a kayak on lakes. You will look at the equipment needed and the safety considerations of kayaking, as well as paddle through long stretches of stunning Lake District scenery.
