Former Royal Marine Commando, Chris Gillyon previously worked as an instructor for an outdoor education and training centre. He has many years experience delivering a wide range of outdoor skills courses and is qualified to work professionally in both summer and winter. He is a trainer and assessor for the MLTE ML award. Chris is also an active member of Keswick Mountain Rescue Team, and an expert in technical rescues. In his free time his passion is climbing, whether it be Lake District rock or Alpine snow and ice routes, his personal experience has taken him climbing all over the world from the Arctic Circle to the Himalayas.
Chris Harling has over 14 years experience teaching a wide range of outdoor activities. He is a qualified teacher and member of several National Governing Bodies including the Association of Mountaineering Instructors. He is a trainer and assessor for the Mountain Leader and the Single Pitch Awards and is qualified to teach summer and winter mountaineering. His vast climbing and mountaineering experience has taken him to five continents, including Himalayan expeditions. In 2007 he reached the summit of Mt. Everest after successfully climbing the North Ridge.
Andy Jones is one of the world's most experienced and respected mountaineering instructors. A fully qualified UIAGM International Mountain Guide (the highest professional mountaineering qualification) he is able work without restriction anywhere in the world. He has been teaching adventure activities for 30 years and his huge climbing repertoire includes, The Nose on El Capitan, The North Face of the Eiger and Mt. Kenya's Diamond Couloir. Oh, and we ought to mention he is also a qualified flying instructor!!!

Roger Ward is a highly experienced instructor with well over 20 years of coaching in the outdoors. He has climbed all over the world and is equally at home in his rock shoes, his Alpine "big boots" as well as high altitude himalyan climbing boots. Along with Chris Harling he has made Alpine style winter ascents of the Wyoming's Grand Teton and Island Peak in Nepal. He is also a very well qualified canoe and kayak coach as well as holding the land speed record in a kayak at over 100mph!
